حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَهَاشِمٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ، يَنْقُصُ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْهَرْجُ ؟ قَالَ: الْقَتْلُ.

✧ Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Knowledge will decrease and harj will increase. I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is harj? He said: Killing.
