✧ I have never prayed behind anyone whose prayer more closely resembled the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than so-and-so—a person he named. Al-Dahhak said: Bukayr b. 'Abd Allah narrated to me, from Sulayman b. Yasar, that he said: I prayed behind that man and saw him lengthen the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr and lighten the last two. He lightened 'Asr, recited in Maghrib the short surahs of the Mufassal, recited in 'Isha' "By the sun and its brightness" and the like of it, then recited in Subh the long surahs of the Mufassal.
