حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
لَا يُكْلَمُ عَبْدٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ يَجِيءُ جُرْحُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَوْنُهُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ.

✧ No servant is wounded in the cause of Allah—and Allah knows best who is wounded in His cause—but that his wound will come on the Day of Resurrection, its color the color of blood and its fragrance the fragrance of musk.
