حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تُقَاتِلُوا التُّرْكَ صِغَارَ الْعُيُونِ، حُمْرَ الْوُجُوهِ، ذُلْفَ الْأُنُوفِ كَأَنَّ وُجُوهَهُمُ الْمَجَانُّ الْمُطْرَقَةُ.

Translation

✧ The Hour will not come until you fight the Turks, small-eyed, red-faced, flat-nosed, as if their faces were hammered shields.
