✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ went out among the palm trees of Madinah and said: "O Abu Hurayrah—or O Abu Hirr—the wealthy are ruined. Indeed, the wealthy are the fewest on the Day of Resurrection, except for one who gives of his wealth like this and like this and like this—and how few they are. O Abu Hurayrah, shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Paradise? There is no might and no power except with God, and there is no refuge from God except to Him. O Abu Hurayrah, do you know what God's right upon His servants is, and what the servants' right upon God is?" He said: I said, "God and His Messenger know best." He said: "God's right upon His servants is that they worship Him and associate nothing with Him, and the servants' right upon God is that He will not punish anyone of them who does that."
