✧ You will find people to be of different natures: the best of them in the Age of Ignorance are the best of them in Islam, if they gain understanding. And you will find that among the best of people in this matter (Islam) are those who are most averse to it before entering it. And you will find among the worst of people the two-faced one who comes to these with one face and to those with another.

machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Yūnus narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Mūsā b. ʿUqbah and Ibn Abī ʿAtīq narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from al-Aʿraj, from Abū Hurayrah. It is also said [that it is narrated] from the nephew of al-Zuhrī, from al-Zuhrī as well, from al-Aʿraj, from Abū Hurayrah. It seems that both versions are preserved (maḥfūẓ) from al-Zuhrī.
