حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّهُ رَقِيَ إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَجَدَهُ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَرَفَعَ فِي عَضُدَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ هِيَ الْغُرُّ الْمُحَجَّلُونَ مِنْ أَثَرِ الْوُضُوءِ، مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يُطِيلَ غُرَّتَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ.
Translation

✧ He climbed to Abu Hurayrah on the roof of the mosque and found him performing ablution. He raised his arms and then turned to me and said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'On the Day of Resurrection, my community will be radiant and marked from the traces of ablution. Whoever can extend his radiance, let him do so.'
