حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِمْعَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَظْهَرَ الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْكَذِبُ، وَيَتَقَارَبَ الْأَسْوَاقُ، وَيَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ قِيلَ: وَمَا الْهَرْجُ ؟ قَالَ: الْقَتْلُ.

Translation

  3. Saʿīd b. Simʿān
  4. Abū Hurayrah
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The Hour will not come until tribulations appear, lying becomes widespread, markets draw near to one another, time becomes short, and harj increases. It was said, 'What is harj?' He said, 'Killing.'
