حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُمْ يَذْكُرُونَ الْكَمْأَةَ قَالُوا نُرَاهَا جُدَرِيَّ الْأَرْضِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ، وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السُّمِّ.

✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out to his companions while they were mentioning truffles. They said: 'We consider them the smallpox of the earth.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Truffles are from manna, and their water is a cure for the eye. The 'ajwah is from Paradise and it is a cure for poison.'
