حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ قَالَ تُوُفِّيَ ابْنَانِ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

تُوُفِّيَ ابْنَانِ لِي فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا تُحَدِّثُنَاهُ تُطَيِّبُ بِأَنْفُسِنَا عَنْ مَوْتَانَا قَالَ: نَعَمْ، صِغَارُهُمْ دَعَامِيصُ الْجَنَّةِ يَلْقَى أَحَدُهُمْ أَبَاهُ أَوْ أَبَوَيْهِ فَيَأْخُذُ بِنَاحِيَةِ ثَوْبِهِ أَوْ يَدِهِ كَمَا آخُذُ بِصَنِفَةِ ثَوْبِكَ هَذَا، فَلَا يُفَارِقُهُ حَتَّى يُدْخِلَهُ وَإِيَّاهُ الْجَنَّةَ.

✧ Two sons of mine died, so I said to Abu Hurayrah, "Did you hear from the Messenger of God ﷺ a hadith that you narrate to us, by which you console us for our dead?" He said, "Yes. Their little ones are the small creatures of Paradise. One of them meets his father or his parents, takes hold of the edge of his garment or his hand as I take hold of the hem of this garment of yours, and does not part from him until He admits him and them into Paradise."
