✧ I fell ill, and the Prophet ﷺ came to me while I was saying: 'O God, if my appointed time has come, give me rest; and if it is delayed, heal me or grant me well-being; and if it is a trial, give me patience.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'What did you say?' He said: I repeated it to him. He said: Then he wiped me with his hand and said: 'O God, heal him or grant him well-being.' He said: I never suffered from that pain again.
