حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ أَدْبَرَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ ضُرَاطٌ، وَإِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ خَطَرَ بَيْنَ أَحَدِكُمْ وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِهِ حَتَّى يُنْسِيَهُ صَلَاتَهُ، فَلَا يَدْرِيَ كَمْ صَلَّى فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

Translation

  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ When the call to prayer is given, Satan turns away passing wind. When the mu'adhdhin falls silent, he comes between a person and himself until he makes him forget his prayer, so that he does not know how much he has prayed. Whoever experiences any of that should prostrate twice.
