حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
اشْتَكَتِ النَّارُ إِلَى رَبِّهَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَتْ: أَكَلَ بَعْضِي بَعْضًا فَأَذِنَ لَهَا بِنَفَسَيْنِ، فَأَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ حَرِّهَا، وَأَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْبَرْدِ مِنْ زَمْهَرِيرِهَا
Translation

✧ The Fire complained to its Lord, Mighty and Majestic, and said: Parts of me have consumed other parts. So He permitted it two breaths: the most intense heat you find is from its heat, and the most intense cold you find is from its extreme cold.
