حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قَدِمَ الطُّفَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّوْسِيُّ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدْ عَصَتْ وَأَبَتْ فَادْعُ اللهَ عَلَيْهَا، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ: هَلَكَتْ دَوْسٌ فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا، وَأْتِ بِهَا

✧ Al-Ṭufayl b. ʿAmr al-Dawsī and his companions came and said, 'O Messenger of God, Daws has disobeyed and refused, so supplicate to God against them.' Abū Hurayrah said: The Messenger of God ﷺ raised his hands, and I said, 'Daws is ruined.' But he said, 'O God, guide Daws and bring them.'
