✧ My friend Abu Al-Qasim advised me with three things. I will not leave them during a journey or when present: fasting three days of each month, sleeping on a raised surface, and performing two units of prayer (Duha prayer). He then said, "Verily, Al-Hasan was ordered to place these two units of prayer for purifying oneself on the day of Friday."

machine translationQatādah narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Ḥātim Suwayd b. Ibrāhīm narrated it from Qatādah, from Sālim b. Abī al-Jaʿd, from Abū Saʿīd al-Azdī, from Abū Hurayrah. Abān al-ʿAṭṭār contradicted him and narrated it from Qatādah, from Abū Saʿīd al-Azdī, without mentioning Sālim b. Abī al-Jaʿd. It is also said, from Suwayd Abū Ḥātim as well, the same as the statement of Abān al-ʿAṭṭār. And Saʿīd b. Abī ʿArūbah narrated it from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Abū Hurayrah. He said: There is nothing established concerning it.
