حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي عَلَى طَرِيقٍ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ، فَقَالَ: لَأَرْفَعَنَّ هَذَا لَعَلَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَغْفِرُ لِي بِهِ، فَرَفَعَهُ فَغَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ، وَأَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ.

✧ While a man was walking along a road, he found a thorny branch. He said: 'I will remove this, perhaps God, Mighty and Majestic, will forgive me for it.' So he removed it, and God forgave him for it and admitted him to Paradise.
