Musnad Ahmad 10284

Translation

✧ A man said: "O Messenger of God, I have relatives whom I maintain ties with but they cut me off; I treat them well but they treat me badly; I forbear with them but they act ignorantly toward me." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "If it is as you say, it is as though you are feeding them hot ashes. And a supporter from God, Mighty and Majestic, will remain with you as long as you continue in that."
