حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ صَلَّى صَلَاةً تَجَوَّزَ فِيهَا. فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: هَكَذَا كَانَ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَأَجْوَزَ.

Translation

✧ I saw Abu Hurayrah pray a prayer in which he was brief. I said to him, 'Was this how the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was?' He said, 'Yes, and even briefer.'
