Musnad Ahmad 10027

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was brought some dates from the charity dates, and he gave an order concerning them. Then he carried al-Hasan or al-Husayn on his shoulder, and his saliva was dripping. He looked at him and saw that he was chewing a date from the charity dates. He said: "Throw it away. Do you not know that the family of Muhammad do not eat charity?"
