Translation
✧ From Jabir: He said: A son was born to a man among us, and he named him al-Qasim. The Ansar said: We will not give you the kunya Abu al-Qasim, nor will we honor you. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and told him what the Ansar had said. The Prophet ﷺ said: The Ansar did well. Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunya. I am only a Qasim.
