Translation
✧ Abū Hurayrah ؓ said: “A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which charity has the greatest reward?’ He said: ‘Indeed, by your father, you will be informed: that you give charity while you are healthy and miserly, fearing poverty and hoping for wealth. And do not delay until it reaches the throat and you say, “To so-and-so such-and-such, and to so-and-so such-and-such,” when it already belongs to so-and-so.’”
