حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ وَخَلِيفَةُ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَرْدِ عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْكَلِمَةِ؟ فَسَكَتَ وَرَأَى أَنَّهُ هَجَمَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَلَى شَيْءٍ كَرِهَهُ فَقَالَ مَنْ هُوَ؟ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ إِلاَّ صَوَابًا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا أَرْجُو بِهَا الْخَيْرَ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ رَأَيْتُ ثَلاَثَةَ عَشَرَ مَلَكًا يَبْتَدِرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ يَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationMusaddad and Khalīfah narrated to us, they said: Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal narrated to us, he said: al-Jurayrī narrated to us, from Abū al-Ward, from Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥaḍramī, from Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī, he said:
✧ A man said in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ: Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise. The Prophet ﷺ said: Who is the speaker of these words? The man remained silent, thinking that he had intruded upon the Prophet ﷺ with something he disliked. He said: Who is he? He only said what was right. A man said: I am the one, hoping for good through them. He said: By the One in whose hand is my soul, I saw thirteen angels rushing to see which of them would raise it to Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
