حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ عَنِ الصُّنَابِحِيّ
عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ أَخَذَ بِيَدِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّكَ قُلْتُ وَأَنَا وَاللَّهِ أُحِبُّكَ قَالَ أَلاَ أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَقُولُهَا فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَتِكَ؟ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Mu'adh ibn Jabal said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, took my hand and then said, "Mu'adh!' 'At your service!' I said. He said, 'I love you.' I replied, 'And, by Allah, I love you.' He asked, 'Shall I teach you some words to say at the end of your prayer?' 'Yes,' I replied. He said, 'Say:
✧ From Muʿādh b. Jabal who said: The Prophet ﷺ took hold of my hand and said: O Muʿādh. I said: At your service. He said: I love you. I said: And I, by Allah, love you. He said: Shall I not teach you words to say at the end of each of your prayers? I said: Yes. He said: Say: O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well.
