Translation
✧ My father narrated that al-Hajjaj entered upon Ibn 'Umar while I was with him. He asked, "How is he?" Ibn 'Umar replied, "He is fine." Al-Hajjaj asked, "Who struck you?" He replied, "The one who ordered carrying weapons on a day when it is not lawful to carry them—meaning al-Hajjaj—struck me."
