Visiting Bedouins

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَعْرَابِيٍّ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ عَلَيْكَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ الأعْرَابِيُّ بَلْ هِيَ حُمَّى تَفُورُ عَلَى شَيْخٍ كَبِيرٍ كَيْمَا تُزِيرُهُ الْقُبُورَ قَالَ فَنَعَمْ إِذًا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon a bedouin to visit him. He said, "No harm upon you; it is purification, if Allah wills." The bedouin said, "Rather, it is a fever boiling over an old man, to send him to the graves." He said, "Then yes."
