The Dutifulness of someone who maintains what his father

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَرَّ الْبِرِّ أَنْ يَصِلَ الرَّجُلُ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ

Translation

  1. `Abd Allah b. Yazid > Haywah > Abu Uthman al-Walid b. Abi al-Walid > Abd Allah b. Dinar > Ibn Umar

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The strongest form of dutifulness is when a man maintains relations with the people his father loved."
