حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى حَكِيمِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ لاَ تَكُونُوا عُجُلاً مَذَايِيعَ بُذُرًا فَإِنْ مِنْ وَرَائِكُمْ بَلاَءً مُبَرِّحًا مُمْلِحًا وَأُمُورًا مُتَمَاحِلَةً رُدُحًا
Translation
✧ I heard ʿAlī ؓ say, 'Do not be hasty, broadcasting, and scatterers of secrets, for behind you is a painful and bitter trial and protracted, enduring matters.'
