Someone who finishes something for his slave, fearing

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ
أَنْ نَخْتِمَ عَلَى الْخَادِمِ وَنَكِيلَ وَنَعُدَّهَا كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَتَعَوَّدُوا خُلُقَ سُوءٍ أَوْ يَظُنَّ أَحَدُنَا ظَنَّ سُوءٍ
Translation
✧ That we should seal the servant's mouth and measure and count, out of dislike that they become accustomed to bad character or that one of us should think ill thoughts.
