حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَغْلِقُوا الأَبْوَابَ وَأَوْكُوا السِّقَاءَ وَأَكْفِئُوا الإِنَاءَ وَخَمِّرُوا الإِنَاءَ وَأَطْفِئُوا الْمِصْبَاحَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَفْتَحُ غَلَقًا وَلاَ يَحُلُّ وِكَاءً وَلاَ يَكْشِفُ إِنَاءً وَإِنَّ الْفُوَيْسِقَةَ تُضْرِمُ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَيْتَهُمْ
Translation

machine translationIsmāʿīl narrated to us, he said: Mālik narrated to me, from Abū al-Zubayr al-Makkī, from Jābir b. ʿAbdillāh
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Close the doors, tie the water-skins, turn over the vessels, cover the vessels, and extinguish the lamp, for Satan does not open a closed door, nor untie a water-skin, nor uncover a vessel. Indeed, the little vermin sets fire to people's houses."
