Should you let your feet dangle while you are

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ شَهِدَ عِنْدِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ فِي حَائِطٍ عَلَى قُفِّ الْبِئْرِ مُدَلِّيًا رِجْلَيْهِ فِي الْبِئْرِ

Translation

Abu Musa al-Ash'ari related that the Prophet ﷺ was sitting in a walled garden on the rim of a well, dangling his feet into the well.
