حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ يَأْكُلُ أَحَدُكُمْ بِشِمَالِهِ وَلاَ يَشْرَبَنَّ بِشِمَالِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ قال كان نافع يزيد فيها ((ولا يأخذ بها ولا يعطي بها))
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should eat with his left hand or drink with his left hand, for Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand." He said: Nāfiʿ used to add to it: "And he should not take with it or give with it."
