حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationAl-Ḥumaydī narrated to us, he said: Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, he said: ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar narrated to us, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said:
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “None of you should make a man get up from his seat and then sit in it. Rather, make room and spread out.”
