When someone asks permission, he is told, "Enter

حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ فَقِيلَ ادْخُلْ بِسَلاَمٍ فَأَبَى
أَنْ يَدْخُلَ عَلَيْهِمْ
Translation
✧ That he should enter upon them.
