Someone who is miserly with the greeting

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَبْخَلُ النَّاسِ الَّذِي يَبْخَلُ بِالسَّلاَمِ وَإِنَّ أَعْجَزَ النَّاسِ مَنْ عَجَزَ بِالدُّعَاءِ

Translation

✧ From Abū Hurayrah, who said: “The most miserly of people is the one who is miserly with the greeting, and the most incapable of people is the one who is incapable of supplication.”
