Someone who is miserly with the greeting

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ الْكَذُوبُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ وَالْبَخِيلُ مَنْ بَخِلَ بِالسَّلاَمِ وَالسَّرُوقُ مَنْ سَرَقَ الصَّلاةَ

Translation

✧ From ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ, who said: “The liar is the one who lies on his oath, the miserly is the one who is miserly with the greeting, and the thief is the one who steals the prayer.”
