Make it heard when you greet

حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ مَجْلِسًا فِيهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ: إِذَا سَلَّمْتَ فَأَسْمِعْ، فَإِنَّهَا تَحِيَّةٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ مُبَارَكَةً طَيْبَةً.
Translation
✧ I came to a gathering in which ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar was present, and he said: When you greet, make it heard, for it is a greeting from Allah, blessed and good.
