حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمْ يَزَلْ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ، فَرَمَاهَا بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ، يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ

Translation

  7. al-Faḍl b. ʿAbbās

✧ The Prophet ﷺ did not cease reciting the talbiyah until he threw Jamrat al-Aqabah. He threw it with seven pebbles, saying takbir with each pebble.
