✧ Shahr b. Hawshab from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، قَالَ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يُسَايِرُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَفِي عُنُقِهَا نَعْلٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man driving a sacrificial camel. He said: Ride it. He said: It is a sacrificial camel. He said: Ride it. He said: I saw him walking alongside the Prophet ﷺ while a sandal was on its neck.

    يرويه يحيى بن أبي كثير حدث به معمر بن راشد واختلف عنه فرواه ابن المبارك عن معمر عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة وتابعه زهير بن محمد عن عبد الرزاق عن معمر وخالفه لوين رواه عن عبد الرزاق عن معمر عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن رجل يكنى بأبي إسحاق عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة ولعله قد حفظه عن عبد الرزاق أبو إسحاق هذا ليس بمعروف ويحيى بن أبي كثير معروف بالتدليس
