حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ لِلهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلْقًا يَبُثُّهُمْ تَحْتَ اللَّيْلِ كَيْفَ شَاءَ، فَأَوْكُوا السِّقَاءَ، وَأَغْلِقُوا الْأَبْوَابَ، وَغَطُّوا الْإِنَاءَ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَفْتَحُ بَابًا، وَلَا يَكْشِفُ غِطَاءً، وَلَا يَحُلُّ وِكَاءً

Translation

✧ Indeed, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has creatures whom He disperses throughout the night as He wills. So tie up your waterskins, close your doors, and cover your vessels, for He does not open a door, nor uncover a covering, nor untie a waterskin tie.
