وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: سَعِّرْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: إِنَّمَا يَرْفَعُ اللهُ وَيَخْفِضُ، إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللهَ وَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدِي مَظْلَمَةٌ، وَقَالَ لَهُ آخَرُ: سَعِّرْ، فَقَالَ: أَدْعُو اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Translation

✧ A man said, “Set the price, O Messenger of God.” He said, “Indeed, God raises and lowers. I hope to meet God while no one has a complaint against me.” Another man said to him, “Set the price.” He said, “I will call upon God, Mighty and Majestic.”
