حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَكْثِرُوا الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيَّ، فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ عَلَيَّ زَكَاةٌ لَكُمْ، وَسَلُوا لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْوَسِيلَةُ ؟ قَالَ: أَعْلَى دَرَجَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، لَيْسَ يَنَالُهَا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَأَنَا أَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ

Translation

✧ Increase prayers upon me, for your prayers upon me are purification for you. And ask God to grant me the wasila. It was said: O Messenger of God, what is the wasila? He said: The highest degree in Paradise, which none attains except one man among people, and I hope that I am he.
