✧ The example of one who hears wisdom but narrates the worst of what he hears is like a man who came to a shepherd and said, 'O shepherd, give me a sheep from your flock to slaughter.' He said, 'Go and take hold of the ear of the best of them.' So he went and took hold of the ear of the sheepdog.
