حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلْمًا يَبْتَغِي بِهِ وَجْهَ اللهِ، لَا يَتَعَلَّمُهُ إِلَّا لِيُصِيبَ بِهِ عَرَضًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا، لَمْ يَجِدْ عَرْفَ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ Whoever learns knowledge by which he seeks the face of God but does not learn it except to obtain by it some worldly gain will not find the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection.
