حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَسْكَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ:
مَنْ رَأَى أَخَاهُ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ حَالَتْ بَيْنَهُمَا شَجَرَةٌ، أَوْ حَائِطٌ، أَوْ صَخْرَةٌ فَلَقِيَهُ، فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ Whoever sees his brother should greet him with salam. If a tree, a wall, or a rock comes between them and then he meets him, he should greet him with salam.
