وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ، فَإِنْ هُوَ اتَّقَى وَعَدَلَ كَانَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ، وَإِنْ أَمَرَ بِغَيْرِهِ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ، وَإِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ
Translation

✧ The imam is only a shield; fighting is done behind him. If he fears Allah and acts justly, he will have a reward for that; but if he commands otherwise, then it will be against him. And the imam is only to be followed.
