وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ بِحَطَبٍ فَيُحْتَطَبَ، ثُمَّ آمُرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَيُؤَذَّنَ بِهَا، ثُمَّ آمُرَ رَجُلًا فَيُصَلِّيَ بِالنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ أُخَالِفَ إِلَى رِجَالٍ فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ بُيُوتَهُمْ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَوْ يَعْلَمُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنَّهُ يَجِدُ عَظْمًا سَمِينًا أَوْ مِرْمَاتَيْنِ حَسَنَتَيْنِ، لَشَهِدَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ
Translation

- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I was on the point of ordering that firewood be gathered, then ordering the prayer and the call to prayer be made, then ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, and then going off to some men and burning their houses down upon them. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if one of you knew that he would find a fat bone or two fine sheep's trotters, he would attend the evening prayer.
