machine translationThere is disagreement about it with regard to Shuʿbah. Ibn Abī ʿAdī narrated it from Shuʿbah, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. And Sulaymān b. Sayf narrated it from Wahb b. Jarīr, from Shuʿbah, from Muḥammad b. Juḥādah, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, and he erred in it regarding Shuʿbah. The correct version is what Ibn Ṣāʿid narrated to us, he said: Bundār narrated to us, Ibn Abī ʿAdī narrated to us, from Shuʿbah, from Sulaymān al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses to come, the angels curse her until the morning." Al-Bukhārī recorded it from Bundār, from Ibn ʿAdī. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan al-Naqqāsh narrated to us, ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Sahl b. Bakht al-Naṣībī narrated to us, Abū Dāwūd Sulaymān b. Sayf narrated to us, Wahb b. Jarīr narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Muḥammad b. Juḥādah, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses to come to him, and he spends the night angry with her, the angels curse her until the morning."
