✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of God, tell me who is most deserving of my good companionship? He said: Yes, by your father, you will be told: Your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Then your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Then your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Then your father. He said: Tell me, O Messenger of God, about wealth I should give in charity. He said: Yes, by God, you will be told: Give charity while you are healthy and miserly, hoping for life and fearing poverty, and do not delay until when your soul reaches here, and here, you say: My wealth is for so-and-so, and my wealth is for so-and-so, while it is already theirs even if you dislike it.
