حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سِيرِينَ، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، قَضَى فِي الْمُصَرَّاةِ، إِذَا اشْتَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ حَلَبَهَا، فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَمْسَكَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ رَدَّهَا، وَمَعَهَا صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ ruled regarding the sheep with milk retained in its udder: when a man buys it and milks it, he has the choice to keep it or return it, along with a saa‘ of dates.
