وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ:

قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ؟ قَالَ: أَوَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ ؟. فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ لِلرَّجُلِ الَّذِي سَأَلَهُ: أَتَعْرِفُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؟ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَثِيَابُهُ مَوْضُوعَةٌ عَلَى الْمِشْجَبِ

Translation

✧ A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, may a man pray in a single garment?' He said, 'Does every one of you have two garments?' Then Abu Hurayra said to the man who asked him, 'Do you know Abu Hurayra? He used to pray in a single garment while his clothes were placed on the peg.'
